Connecting Alumni and Fostering Community
St Catharine’s College Alumni Society, founded in 1923, is dedicated to helping its members stay connected with one another and fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between the College and its alumni. Our Society enables lifelong friendships to flourish and supports networking opportunities for alumni of St Catharine’s College, Cambridge University.

Membership and Inclusion
Membership to the Society is automatic for all members of the College upon matriculation.
Fellows of the College become members of the Society from the date of their fellowship.

Events and Branches
We organise various events in Cambridge, inviting members to reconnect with old friends and make new ones in a familiar setting. Our Society also has branches across the UK and overseas, arranging local events open to all members and their guests. We aim to establish enough branches to cover the entire UK, and we gladly provide guidance and support for those interested in setting up a branch in an uncovered area.
Communication and Publications
St Catharine’s College Alumni Society prioritises maintaining communication between its members and the College. We produce an Annual Magazine, providing comprehensive coverage of College and Society activities annually. The Alumni and Development Office also publishes The Wheel newsletter annually, reporting on College news, events, the ongoing Development Campaign, and Society updates.
Member Contact Records
The Alumni and Development Office maintains a database of members’ contact details, allowing the Society to stay in touch with members and facilitate individual reconnections through the Alumni Office, in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Most branches maintain their own mailing lists and publicise events on the Society website.
Get Involved and Stay Connected
We encourage all St. Catharine’s College Alumni Society members to participate in and contribute to our activities. Your feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
